Why should I book a meeting with Rapid Marine?

This November marks our seventh consecutive year exhibiting at METSTRADE in Amsterdam, and we’re looking forward to meeting customers, partners and new faces from across the global leisure marine industry. If you’re looking for practical solutions for lifting, securing or storing tenders and PWCs onboard, come and meet the Rapid Marine team on Stand 01.580.

We’ll be showcasing the products we’ve developed around real onboard challenges, sharing practical advice and, most importantly, listening to the problems you’re trying to solve.

What Could We Solve for You?

A large part of product development at Rapid Marine starts with a conversation. Our Managing Director, Mike Evers, has always said that if he hears the same problem three times, there’s probably a product that needs designing. By designing and developing our products in-house, we’re able to take the frustrations we hear from owners, crew, dealers and yacht professionals and turn them into practical solutions designed around how equipment is actually used onboard. At METSTRADE this year, we’re focusing on three areas: Secure. Lift. Store.

Secure: How do you securely tie down a tender without leaving intrusive hardware across the deck?

Traditional eyebolts provide an attachment point, but when the tender is launched, protruding fittings can remain exactly where owners and guests want to walk, swim and enjoy the bathing platform. It was this problem that led to the development of the Rapid Marine Padeye: a low-profile attachment point designed to provide a secure tie-down location while creating a cleaner, less intrusive deck when not in use.

In 2025, we reached a milestone of more than 10,000 Padeyes sold, with the design also receiving a DAME Award nomination.

Lift: How can PWC launch and recovery be made more secure and controlled for crew?

Traditional PWC lifting harnesses can rely on hooks positioned beneath the rubbing band rather than dedicated attachment points on the craft. This can allow unwanted movement during lifting and make an already demanding onboard operation more difficult. Our approach was to create the secure connection first.

The Rapid Marine PWC lifting system uses four dedicated brackets fitted to the PWC, providing secure attachment points for a balanced four-point lift during launch and recovery. It’s a simple example of the philosophy behind our products: understand the operation first, then design the equipment around it.

Store: How do you securely support a tender without permanently sacrificing your bathing platform?

Storage is an important part of yacht design, and the bathing platform shouldn’t be an exception. Our Universal Chocks provide adjustable hull support for tenders, RIBs, PWCs and other water toys while they’re stored onboard. Once the tender is launched, the chocks can be removed, helping return the platform to a clean, practical space for swimming, boarding and enjoying the water.

Bring Us Your Challenge

We’re constantly listening and learning from the marine industry. Some of our best product ideas have started with somebody telling us: “We’ve got a problem onboard. Is there a better way of doing this?”

So whether you’re a yacht builder looking at tender integration, a dealer helping a customer specify their setup, or crew trying to improve an existing onboard operation, we’d be happy to talk. Bring us your tender or PWC lifting, securing and storage challenges and let’s see if we can help find a practical solution.
